Tema de investigación: Transición histórica-espacial del sistema mundial y América Latina. Crisis de hegemonía, dinámica multipolar y proyectos estratégicos en pugna desde una perspectiva multiescalar

En la presente investigación se propone analizar la transición histórica-espacial del sistema mundial y el devenir de América Latina en la misma, desde una perspectiva multiescalar y en relación a la crisis de hegemonía y la dinámica multipolar. Con ello se busca actualizar el análisis del estado de situación de la crisis del orden mundial y la multipolaridad relativa a partir de los cambios acontecidos en las luchas entre polos de poder y en poder relativo de cada uno. Especialmente teniendo en cuenta la fractura del polo de poder anglo-estadounidense y el avance de asociaciones euroasiáticas protagonizadas por China y Rusia. Ello se complementa con el estudio sobre variables fundamentales de la crisis capitalista y la situación económica internacional: estancamiento secular del Norte Global, sobreacumulación, sobreproducción y financiarización. A partir del análisis de la situación internacional, se procura observar el avance del regionalismo abierto en América Latina y sus consecuencias sobre el MERCOSUR, la UNASUR, la CELAC y los posicionamientos/alineamientos internacionales de los principales países de la región, teniendo en cuenta el impacto de los cambios políticos en los Estados Unidos en América Latina y sus implicancias geopolíticas. A nivel regional se focaliza en los proyectos políticos y estratégicos, los modelos de desarrollo y de acumulación y los modelos/proyectos de integración regional en debate. Además, se va a continuar con el análisis de casos nacionales particulares.

Historical-spatial transition of the world system and Latin America. Hegemony crisis, multipolar dynamics and conflicting strategic projects from a multiscalar perspective

This research proposes to analyze the historical-spatial transition of the world system and the evolution of Latin America in it, from a multiscale perspective and in relation to the crisis of hegemony and the multipolar dynamics. The aim is to update the analysis of the state of the world order crisis and relative multipolarity based on the changes that have taken place in the struggles between power poles and in the relative power of each one of them. Especially taking into account the fracture of the Anglo-American power pole and the advance of Eurasian associations led by China and Russia. This is complemented with the study of fundamental variables of the capitalist crisis and the international economic situation: secular stagnation of the Global North, overaccumulation, overproduction and financialization. From the analysis of the international situation, it is sought to observe the advance of open regionalism in Latin America and its consequences on MERCOSUR, UNASUR, CELAC and the international positionings/alignments of the main countries of the region, taking into account the impact of the political changes in the United States in Latin America and their geopolitical implications. At the regional level, the focus is on political and strategic projects, development and accumulation models and regional integration models/projects under debate. In addition, we will continue with the analysis of particular national cases.
